Information Collection and Use by Not by Chance
Not by Chance collects information such as name, email and passwords in order to register and authenticate users. Relevant information is shared with third parties for the purposes of facilitating Not by Chance and the Not by Chance video course. Your information is provided to these third parties solely for the purpose of providing you such services.
We may also use a user's email address to send updates or news regarding the service.
Not by Chance also logs non-personally-identifiable information including IP address, profile information, aggregate user data, and browser type, from users and visitors to the site. This data is used to manage the website, track usage and improve the website services. This non-personally-identifiable information may be shared with third-parties to provide more relevant services and advertisements to users. User IP addresses are recorded for security and monitoring purposes.
Email addresses and other contact information of users is not shared or displayed to other users of Not by Chance. Users communicate on the Family Bridge with each other through the use of the "My Messages." This is done without disclosure of the user's email address.
Use of Cookies
The Family Bridge uses cookies to store visitors' preferences and to record session information, for purposes including ensuring that visitors are not repeatedly offered the same advertisements and to customize newsletter, advertising, and Web page content based on browser type and user profile information. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our site. You may be able to configure your browser to accept or reject all or some cookies, or notify you when a cookie is set -- each browser is different, so check the "Help" menu of your browser to learn how to change your cookie preferences -- however, you must enable cookies from the Family Bridge in order to use most functions on the site.

Correcting/Updating or Removing Information
Family Not by Chance users may modify or remove any of their personal information at any time by logging into their account and updating their Profile.
Security
Family Bridge user accounts are secured by automated passwords and/or user-updated passwords. Family Bridge takes precautions to insure that user account information is kept private. We use reasonable measures to protect user information that is stored within our database, and we restrict access to user information to those employees who need access to perform their job functions, such as our customer service personnel and technical staff. Please note that we cannot guarantee the security of user account information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of user information at any time.
In addition, Third Party Suppliers are accountable for their own in-house security measures. Not by Chance makes no claims or guarantees to the level of security provided by such Third Party Suppliers, nor is Not by Chance liable for any breach of security resulting from Third Party Supplier failure to adequately protect information.
Not by Chance uses industry standard security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Not by Chance uses Secure Sockets Layer (" SSL ") encryption for all information processed through Not by Chance. We rely on third-party service providers to host our website. We also store data on third party servers in a secure physical environment. We believe that the security procedures of these third parties are adequate. Although we make good faith efforts to store information in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, Not by Chance cannot guarantee complete security. 100% complete security does not presently exist anywhere online or offline.
You can also help protect your information and identity by not sharing your username and password with others. In addition, if you are using a public or shared computer, we strongly recommend that you sign out of your Family Bridge account and close your browser when you are done using your account. This will prevent others from accessing your account and personal information.
Sharing and Disclosure of Information Not by Chance Collects
Except as otherwise described in this privacy statement, Not by Chance and Third Party Suppliers will not disclose personal information to any third party unless we believe that disclosure is necessary: (1) to conform to legal requirements or to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other legal process received by Not by Chance or a Third Party Provider, whether or not a response is required by applicable law; (2) to enforce the Agreement or to protect our rights; or (3) to protect the safety of users of the service or others believed to be in danger.
We may provide anonymous, summary statistics about the interests and preferences of visitors of our web site, traffic patterns and related site information. These statistics do not include personally identifiable information.
Not by Chance reserves the right to transfer personal information to a successor in interest that acquires rights to that information as a result of the sale of Not by Chance or substantially all of its assets to that successor in interest. Changes in Our Privacy Policy
From time to time we may make changes to our privacy policy. If we make changes, we will post them on our site to make users aware of what the changes are so users will always be aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and when we may disclose it. A user is bound by any minor changes to the policy when she or he uses the site after those changes have been posted. If, however, we are going to use users' personally identifiable information in a manner materially different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify by posting a notice on our Web site for 30 days.
